You are your own boss and manage your own roster. Through the app, you can view upcoming cleans, accept jobs, skip services, or cancel when needed. Clear communication helps build strong relationships with your clients.
A positive attitude and some basic supplies.
For regular jobs, unless stated otherwise, the client provides the cleaning equipment.
For one-off jobs such as spring cleans and end-of-lease cleans, you will need to supply your own equipment and products. This includes a reliable vacuum and mop, quality cleaning products, cloths, and scrubbing brushes.
Transport
Access to a personal vehicle is required to travel between jobs. Public transport may be considered for candidates in metropolitan areas with reliable services. This may also apply if you plan to work only a few hours at a single job each day without travelling between multiple clients.
Communication skills
Good communication skills are important. You should be able to read and write in English and understand both written and verbal instructions, especially when using cleaning products and equipment.
